Video Production: Practicum

During this seminar, students will be introduced to basic definitions and elements of visual media, as well as the main stages of the creative process. They will be assisted in developing their own methods of drafting their own work. The technical specificity of various types of audio-visual art will be taught through work on practical assignments. This will include introduction to specific features of the language of new media. The theoretical part of the seminar will deal with the basics of working on a concept of artwork. The fields of discussion will include: perception of a moving image, animation, experimental film, video art, and cinema. Final attestation for the course consists of an exam.
