Introduction to International Relations

This is a core course for the program of concentration "International relations, political science and human rights." The course examines international relations from theoretical and empirical perspectives and provides students skills to write essays on relevant topics as well as develop research skills. The course is developed for those students who plan to concentrate in the program "International relations, political science and human rights" but can be taken by other students with sufficient interest in international relations. This is a systemic introduction to the study of international relations. The course examines major theoretical schools of international relations, looks into the history of the development of international relations and introduces concepts that are vital for understanding contemporary international relations.
