Origins of Totalitarianism

Roundtable discussion "Origins of Totalitarianism: Totalitarianism, Nazism and Stalinism in the Teachings of Hannah Arendt" within the framework of "Human Rights" Seminar (58-60 Galernaya Street).

Totalitarianism as an ever-present danger in all societies comprised of lonely and atomistic individuals, controversial and vibrant "banality of evil" with the only antidote of the depth that accompanies thinking, Arendt’s analysis of revolution - all of this makes Arendt's work important in a new, analytic and reflexive way, as a heritage of a Modern classic that requires its interpretation and translation.
