Introduction to International Relations
This is a core course for the program of concentration "International relations, political science and human rights." The course examines international relations from theoretical and empirical perspectives and provides students the skills to work on writing essays on the relevant topics as well as to develop research skills. The course is developed for those students who plan to major in the program "International relations, political science and human rights," but it can be taken by other students with sufficient interest in international relations. It is a systemic introduction to the study of international relations. The course examines major theoretical schools of international relations, looks into the most important moments in the history of the development of international relations and introduces concepts that are vital for understanding contemporary international relations.
