An important aspect of the program was meetings with artists, gallery owners, and curators of the international and St. Petersburg art scene. In my opinion, the program's teachers are the best in the field. They not only provided us with a comprehensive theoretical base, but also acted as guides: they used their own professional and friendly connections to bring us up to date on relevant events. The Curatorial Studies Program is successful because it combines a serious theoretical approach with creative freedom.
