I entered the Faculty with a clear understanding of what I would do after graduation. I always wanted to write about music, discuss it, and learn something new. Having a secondary-professional education in music theory, from higher education I wanted to obtain a specialization while also deepening my knowledge and increasing its level. However, studying here completely turned my understanding of higher education as a focus on one specific thing upside down. It quickly became clear that music exists not only in a historical context but is also connected with literature, visual arts, and many other spheres. The program's qualified teaching staff influenced the development of my interest in the humanities, which increased with each semester. It is thanks to the Faculty that I now work in the administration of the St. Petersburg Philharmonia—considered one of the best cultural spaces in Russia.
