Mathematics and Computer Science. Introduction to Mathematics

This introductory course covers issues related to the axiomatic architecture and logical foundations of modern mathematics, mathematical models, the structure of mathematical proofs and additional issues of general significance. In this course, mathematics is treated as an experimental site for human thought, which has an impact on other disciplines including the natural sciences and humanities.
