The Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences is a whole world! Since I spent six years within its walls, I can confidently say that I was very lucky. Here, student choice is not a formality, but a fact. The system itself is designed so that students from the first course allocate their time and resources in such a way as to combine the maximum amount of what is important, useful, and interesting.
The Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences is a symbiosis of different ideas and people, united by the idea of freedom of choice. What other educational system allows students to first get acquainted with various subjects, and only then make an informed choice in favor of one major or another? Here, they teach you to learn, not to think "correctly;" they teach you to pose questions and independently search for the answers; to approach information carefully, scrupulously studying every detail. I miss the Faculty. And if I they offered me to spend six more years within its walls (or, perhaps, it is already a university?), I would agree without any hesitation!
